A tradition of excellence

QbiQ wall systems

The intelligent glass and partition wall systems of Dutch manufacturer QbiQ are the result of decades of engineering. Modules are interchangeable, doors can be rebuilt without breaking the wall — every element is recyclable, and the entire range is Cradle to Cradle Silver certified.

The 33 mm profile height gives unmatched slimness, while double-glazed iQ Structural systems deliver acoustic performance of up to Rw 50 dB – and up to Rw 56 dB in the dilated version.

The entire QbiQ product range is Cradle to Cradle Silver certified. This means every wall system element is recyclable or biologically returnable, and no harmful waste is generated during manufacturing.

  • Cleanly, thoroughly and responsibly engineered systems.
  • High acoustic performance (Rw 36–56 dB, up to 60 dB for solid walls).
  • Fire and smoke classifications (EI30/EI60, Sa).
  • Cradle to Cradle Silver certification across the entire range.
  • Bio-based materials and recyclable components.
  • Made in Europe with Dutch quality control.

FAQ

Questions about fire classifications?

What is the difference between EW and EI fire ratings?
EW-rated structures prevent the spread of fire for a given period, while EI-certified elements also meet thermal insulation requirements — meaning the temperature on the other side of the wall does not exceed the permitted value.
What does the Sa smoke classification mean?
Sa class means the wall and door prevent the leakage of cold smoke at normal room temperature. This is a mandatory requirement on evacuation routes in hospitals and public buildings.
Which glass thicknesses are available acoustically?
Single laminated glass in the 8.76–12.76 mm range delivers Rw 32–38 dB, while double-glazed iQ Structural systems (78/100/125 mm wall thickness) achieve Rw 50 dB, and up to Rw 56 dB in the special dilated version (iQ Structural 100). Solid iQ PRO Steel walls deliver up to Rw 60 dB.
Can QbiQ systems be relocated later?
Yes — iQ Single, iQ Structural and the exclusive wall systems can be dismantled modularly and reassembled in a new location, which is particularly valuable for flexible office layouts and in line with the Cradle to Cradle principle.
